PHCN promises prompt fault clearance

The Power Holding Company of Nigeria, Ijora Business Unit, has promised prompt fault clearing and improved service delivery to its customers in the Ijora area of Lagos.
The Business Manager of the unit, Mr. Uzoh Obialeri, gave the assurance during the recent inauguration of two operational vehicles to drive revenue in the area.
Obialeri said the business unit was committed to improved service delivery to all its customers, while assuring better improved workers’ welfare service delivery.
He said, “We have inaugurated business and quality services delivery team in the unit that will response promptly to customer’s plight. Additional operational vehicles had been commissioned to enhanced service delivery, while recreational centre had also been created for workers.”
Obialeri assured the customers of accurate meter reading, prompt bill delivery and prompt clearing of electrical faults in order to reduce the period of power outages.
In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer, Eko Electricity Distribution Zone, Mr. Oladele Amoda, lauded the business unit for its  initiatives and promised his support to workers.
Amoda promised to support the workers with N1m towards improving the business unit recreational centre and social club geared towards enhancing effective revenue generation and workers relaxation in the unit.
He said, “I want to use this medium to commend workers because they were the hardest working and dedicated in Nigeria. The workers are more dedicated, they are tagged miracle workers who squeeze water from stone in view of the peculiar and difficult circumstances in which they operate.”
