The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar has asked all AIGs (Assistant Inspectors- General) to brace up at the point of their duties so as to curb crime and ensure security in their various territories which they have been assigned to man.
This, the police boss said while addressing the issues of crime and insecurity plaguing the country.
He urged all the assistant inspectors -general to effect collaboration with sister security agencies within their domain.
At a meeting with all the AIGs of the various zones across the country, the Inspector –general of police says they are x-raying the various security challenges confronting the nation and making adequate adjustments.
He also added that plans are been put in place to ensure that the governorship elections in Anambra and Ekiti
